Hot Cheese Dip Recipe

Ingredients:

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened  

- 1 cup sour cream  

- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese  

- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese  

- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies (like Rotel), drained  

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder  

- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder  

- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika  

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper  

- 2 green onions, sliced (optional garnish)  

- Tortilla chips or crackers (for serving)


Servings:

- Makes 6–8 servings


Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

   Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).


2. Mix the Dip:

   In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar, Monterey Jack, drained tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Stir until smooth.


3. Bake:

   Transfer mixture to an 8x8-inch baking dish or oven-safe skillet.  

   Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.


4. Serve:

   Top with sliced green onions. Serve hot with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggies.


Notes:

- Microwave Option: Heat in microwave-safe bowl on HIGH for 3–5 minutes, stirring halfway.  

- Slow Cooker: Cook on LOW for 2 hours.  

- Add cooked ground beef or chorizo for a heartier version.  

- Gluten free as written.
