- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
- 1 green onion, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Servings:
- Makes 4 servings
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Marinade:
- In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, ground ginger, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
2. Marinate the Wings
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl with the marinade. Toss to coat evenly.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably 4-6 hours for maximum flavor.
3. Cook the Wings:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove wings from the marinade and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a lightly greased rack.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, turning halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
4. Garnish and Serve:
- Optionally, sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onion.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes:
- For a crispier texture, broil the wings for 2-3 minutes at the end of cooking.
- Adjust seasoning to taste before marinating.
